The R.L. Jones COC Help Center

The Help Center, formerly managed and operated by the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, took over daily distribution services in March of 2018. Since April of 2018 the R.L. Jones C.O.C. (in conjunction with Greater Holy Temple) have taken on weekly distribution of products such as
  • PERSONAL CARE ITEMS
  • FAUCETS & FILTERS
  • WATER PALLETS
After examining the amount of people served on a daily basis our staff determined the most efficient way to continue the program was to streamline the distribution to once per week. Dedicating Thursdays for food distribution has allowed our staff to better serve everyone in a more efficient manner and has allowed us to spend the other three days on other programs. In all the Help Center provides the following:
  • RESOURCE CENTER
  • WATER DISTRIBUTION
  • EDUCATIONAL NUTRITIONAL CLASSES
  • SELF-HELP / NUTRITION INFORMATION
  • FOOD PREPARATION INFORMATION
